Parker Palermo Memorial 5K Run / 2 Mile Walk
Palermo, who grew up in Spencerport, New York, participated in cross country for three seasons at King’s. An avid runner, he completed his first marathon, the Reckson Long Island Marathon, on May 7, 2006. Palermo worked at Plains Animal Hospital as a Vet-Tech, with hopes of going to Veterinary School. He had a great love for animals, often fostering numerous cats, dogs, and even a lamb until he found a good home for them. Proceeds benefit Laura’s Hope Rescue.
